At Vauxoo, we are a multidisciplinary team passionate about technology. We take pride in being a reference in Latin America and maintaining the highest standards. But there was something missing...
Every day, we interact with different brands, from turning on our monitors to working with our clients. That's why Vauxoo has sought the best strategies to stand out and be remembered by our customers and collaborators.
This process began over 12 years ago when we chose our name, colors, typography, and logo. In 2018, we underwent a rebranding to simplify our identity and make it more recognizable. And now, we want to strengthen our brand with a mascot that is here to stay: Vakyro!
The idea for this mascot arose from the need to create our own avatar, representing our 'Vauxoo bot.' We also wanted a character that would evolve to tell our story.
How we selected our mascot
The process of selecting the character that would represent Vauxoo stemmed from an internal research methodology. We took a sample of collaborators within the company to understand each individual's perspective on the brand.
Through surveys and interviews, we defined the values that represent Vauxoo: Innovation, honesty, honor, effort, excellence, experience, and change. We also worked on sketching animals or characters that, for us as team members, embodied these values. The initial concepts ranged from a python snake, a ninja, a robot, a horse, a bird, among others. However, the results of the research and analysis led us to a creative idea represented by our small and friendly Vakyro.
WHY VAKYRO? THE ORIGIN OF HIS NAME
We thought of everything, Vakyro is the name that our adventure companion bears, chosen based on a creative idea that merges with the brand and etymology:
Vauxoo
We created a contraction of the word Kairós, which, mythologically speaking, comes from ancient Greek (καιρός, kairós) and is a concept in Greek philosophy representing an indeterminate period in which something important happens. Its literal meaning is 'appropriate or opportune moment'.
VAKYRO = Vauxoo at the opportune moment. Making a mark (with a character here to stay) at the right time.

THE ANCESTORS OF VAKYRO
Octopuses are ancient invertebrate aquatic animals with a history spanning 500 million years. They are also the most intelligent mollusks, possessing imitative abilities that help them react in dangerous situations and achieve their goals victoriously."
THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF OCTOPUSES
Its body is divided into three regions:
3 HEARTS
The multiple hearts symbolize the passion that each of our collaborators brings to all their projects.
BRAIN
The octopus's brain represents the intelligence of our team, their experience, eagerness to learn, and evolve.
ARMS
Their limbs are connected to the brain, representing Vauxoo's methodology, allowing each one to have autonomous control and, at the same time, reach the goal in perfect synchronization.
WELCOME TO THE TEAM
Its mission is to represent Vauxoo as a Latin American company providing support, coaching, training, development, and implementation services. Vakyro will always accompany us, embodying the bot of our instance, and will become increasingly present in graphical elements.
